"As a complete novice, I was a little nervous when I arrived at my first workshop. But I needn't have worried. First Hans demonstrates creating the arrangement, giving tips on techniques as he goes. Then it's your turn. Hans provides everything you need and is on hand to help and suggest improvements, which he does very tactfully. There are no feelings of pressure or competition between those attending the workshop, in fact everyone is very supportive. It's all very informal with lots of chatting, joking and laughter.
