There are lots of ways to set an inviting scene and festive tone to your home, but one particularly classic way to do this is to brighten your doorstep with a Christmas wreath. Rather than buy one, have you ever considered making one yourself and adding some handmade touches to your home?
Every Christmas Hans Flowers holds a series of 5 Christmas Door Wreath workshops and this year was no exception. Workshops were held between the 6-9th December. Many who had attended workshops in previous years returned and there were several wreath newbies all of whom created their own gorgeous wreaths.
Trendy tints and tones of Eucalyptus, pine greens, suede browns and snow white created the main themes, drawing on what’s current and fashionable this year. As a result, the style of the wreaths was one again on trend for Christmas 2017. Hans always ensures that materials used are current and relevant each year, which is just one of the things that makes Hans Flowers Christmas workshops stand out from the crowd!
As you can see from the photographs, having been given a choice of doing a medium or large-sized wreath, many opted for the large size and as a welcome addition everyone enjoyed incorporating the LED fairy lights (battery operated) into the wreaths.
One of the ‘newbie’ wreath makers e-mailed Hans Flowers after the workshop on Thursday 7th December to say:-
“Many thanks for a really inspiring workshop today. My wreath turned out so much better than I expected. Looking forward to the next workshop. Please add me to your email list”. Pat Gerken
